Brhaddhvani explores the fundamentals of Indian Classical music in relation to the MIND, EXPRESSION, BODY, AND THE SOCIETY.
Welcome to the world of COMET, Co-related Objective Music Education & Training program of Brhaddhvani, a researched contribution by Prof. Dr. Karaikudi S Subramanian, linking Music, Arts and Science and building the artistically intelligent, happy, wholesome, global child, through the core elements of Indian Classical music and Arts.
Designed for the school environment, our Curriculum is taught to children of all age groups, in a fun, easy and interactive way.
Kids’ COMET is an entry level of understanding sounds and tones and building familiarity with music through the experiential mode.
Body movements, story telling and a lot of listening sessions are used as tools in these classes. Small nursery rhymes, and little namavalis are what the kids take home at the end of the curriculum.
Svaritha is meant for children of Classes 1 and 2 and anchors on a Visual and Work-book oriented approach to leaning music. It does not heavily lean on a particular musical form. At the end of the curriculum a student learns Graphic Visualization of musical movements and develops the ability to identify patterns. The curriculum offers songs and work book based experience.
COMET Grade 1 is designed for children to develop an elementary understanding of fundamentals of Carnatic music. The objective is to infuse an understanding of rhythms, tones, Svaras and Svasthanas through songs and exercises.
Upon successful completion of COMET Grade 1 curriculum, the child will have covered Sound production through yoga and breathing exercises, Talas, Gamakas, Svarasthanas, and enhanced their understanding of these concepts through songs.

Kindermusik is the world’s leading Music and Movement program from birth to seven years of age. Kindermusik’s curriculum brings activity based music to children through a fun and interactive method. It offers the child a broad assortment of activities to promote language development, social interaction, cognitive development, coordination and to awaken a child’s imagination
